【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationforthedesignandconstructionofhandfed,shredders/chipperswithintegralpowersourceandwithorwithoutvacuumassistedcollectionwhicharedesignedprimarilytoreduceorganicmaterialtosmallerpieces.Itisonlyapplicabletoshredders/chippersthataredesignedforuseoutdoorsinastationarypositionbyanoperatorstandingontheground.Thisstandardappliestoshredders/chipperswithfeedintakeopeningsorsegments,inthisstandardreferredtoasfeedsafetyopeningsandbeingofanyshapecomplyingwiththesafetydistancerequirementsofthisstandardwithregardtocontactwiththecuttingmeans,thatintotalwillfitintoasquareof250mm×250mmmeasuredattheplaneoftheopening(s).Thisstandarddescribesmethodsofeliminationorreductionofhazardsarisingfromtheuseofshredders/chippers.Inadditionitspecifiesthetypeofinformationtobeprovidedbythemanufactureronsafeworkingpractices.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverrequirementsfor:?unitsdrivenbyanexternalpowersource;?mobileuseofunitswhichcanbeusedinbothstationaryandmobilemodes;?unitswithpowereddischargeintendedtobroadcastmaterialorloadvehicles;?unitswithseparatemechanicallypoweredfeedintakeorattachments;?unitswithcuttingmeansofeitheroneormorenon-metallicfilaments,oroneormorenon-metalliccuttingelementspivotallymountedonagenerallycircularcentraldriveunit,wherethesecuttingelementsrelyoncentrifugalforcetoachievecutting,andhaveakineticenergyforeachsinglecuttingmeansoflessthan10J;?electricalpoweredandbattery-poweredshredders/chippers.EnvironmentalhazardsandEMChavenotbeenconsideredinthisstandard.Thisstandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttoshredders/chippers,whentheyareusedasintended(seeclause4).Thisdocumentisnotapplicabletoshredders/chipperswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
