【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheperformancerequirementsfortheprotection,byprotectivepaintsystems,ofnewoffshoreandrelatedstructuresexposedtotheoffshoreatmosphere,aswellasthoseimmersedinseaorbrackishwater.SuchstructuresareexposedtoenvironmentsofcorrosivitycategoryC5-MandimmersioncategoryIm2asdefinedinISO12944-2:1998,withspecialstressesasgivenin4.3andAnnexBofISO12944-2:1998.Itcanalsobeusedforotherstructures,providedthattheselectedpaintsorprotectivepaintsystemscomplywiththisInternationalStandard.Onlynewworkandanyrepairsnecessarybeforestart-upareincluded.ThisInternationalStandardplacesemphasisonhigh-durabilitypaintsystems,withtheaimofminimizingmaintenance,andhencereducingsafetyconsiderationsandenvironmentalimpact.2ThisInternationalStandardincludesthefollowing:—thetestmethodstobeusedtodeterminethecompositionoftheseparatecomponentsoftheprotectivepaintsystem;—thelaboratoryperformancetestmethodsfortheassessmentofthelikelydurabilityoftheprotectivepaintsystem;—thecriteriatobeusedtoevaluatetheresultsofperformancetests.ThefieldsofapplicationarespecifiedinClause4.Forreferencepurposes,sometypicalexamplesofprotectivepaintsystemswhichhavebeenusedsuccessfullyoffshoreareincludedinTable3.
