【摘要】:Theresultsobtainedbythistestmethodaresimplyameasureofthetimerequiredtoextrudeaknownvolumeofsealantthroughaknownorificeunderapredeterminedpressure.Thistestmethodisnotconsideredameasureofcurerate.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstwolaboratoryproceduresfordeterminingtheextrusionrateandapplicationlife(orx201C;potlifex201D;)ofelastomericchemicallycuringsealantsforuseinbuildingconstruction.Note18212;Thesesealantsaresuppliedwithvariousrheologicalpropertiesrangingfrompourableliquidstononsaggingpastes.Single-componentsealantsaresuppliedreadyforuseuponopeningthecontainer,andtheirrateofcureisdeterminedbytheclimaticconditionstowhichtheyareexposed.Multicomponentsealantsaresuppliedasabasecomponentandacuringagentseparatelypackaged.Aftermixingthetwoparts,thesealantisreadyforapplication,andcuringbeginsimmediately.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothistestmethod.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
