【摘要】:Theamountofacid-solublechlorideinmosthydraulic-cementsystemsisequaltothetotalamountofchlorideinthesystem.However,someorganicsubstancesthatmaybeintroducedintomortarorconcretecontainchloridethatisinitiallyacid-insolublethatcaneventuallyionizeandthusbecomeacid-solubleorwater-solubleafteraperiodofexposureintheveryalkalinecementsystem.Sulfidesareknowntointerferewiththedeterminationofchloridecontent.Blast-furnaceslagaggregatesandcementscontainsulfidesulfurinconcentrationsthatcancausesuchinterferenceandproduceerroneouslyhightestresults.Treatmentwithhydrogenperoxide,asdiscussedinTestMethodsC114,isusedtoeliminatesuchinterference.Thereareaggregatesthatcontainchloridethatisnotavailableforcorrosion.Suchchloridewillbedetectedbytheuseofthismethod.41.1Thistestmethodprovidesproceduresforthesamplingandanalysisofhydraulic-cementmortarorconcreteforchloridethatisacidsolubleundertheconditionsoftest.Inmostcases,acid-solublechlorideisequivalenttototalchloride.1.2Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnotesthatprovideexplanatoryinformation.Thesenotesandfootnotesshallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.
