【摘要】:ThepurposeofthisStandardistoestablishanationallyrecognizedstandardforplumbingfixturesofnon-vitreousceramic,includingfixturescontainingcomponentsofotherrecognizedmaterials,fortheguidanceofmanufacturers,distributors,andpurchaserstopromotebetterunderstandingbetweensuppliersandusers;andtofurnishabasisforfaircompetitioninfurnishingsuchplumbingfixturestomeettheprincipaldemandsoftrade.Thisstandardcoversphysicalrequirementsandtestmethodspertainingtomaterial,grading,dimensions,certainfeaturesofconstruction,andtypesandsizesofplumbingfixturesofnonvitreousceramiccurrentlyingeneraluseanddemand.Alsogivenaredefinitionsinspectionmethods,andtestswhichestablishgenerallyacceptablequalitystandards.Fixturesincludedinthisstandardarewater-closettanks,lavatories,urinalswithoutintegraltrap,bidets,bathtubs,showerreceptors,kitchenandbarsinks,servicesinks,anddrinkingfountains.ThevaluesstatedinU.S.Customaryunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.
