【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddefinesthedataobjectstobestoredwithinanintegratedcircuit(s)cardandexchangedinordertoenableintegratedcircuit(s)cardacceptingterminalstoidentifyspecificuserinterfacepreferences.Thepreferenceinformationmaybeusedbyterminalstoconfigureappropriatemethodsofcommunicatingwiththeuserduringatransactionprocess.TheEuropeanStandardalsospecifiesamechanismfortheretrievaloftheuserpreferenceinformationfromanintegratedcircuit(s)cardandforthecombinationofdataobjectstoformparticularuserprofiles,throughtheassignmentofuniquetags.Formatsanddetaileddefinitionsofsingledataobjectsarespecified,however,theexactmethodofstorageofdatawithintheintegratedcircuit(s)cardisoutsidethescopeofthisEuropeanStandard.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletothescenariowherethecardholderoperatesthecardacceptingequipment(e.g.acashdispenser,ticketmachine,vendingmachine)andtointegratedcircuit(s)cardsconformingtoISO/IEC7816-4andISO/IEC7816-6andpersonalisedtotheindividualcardholder.
